You have two names: Monica Murphy (which we've all heard of) and Karen Erickson. Why did you choose to have two names?

Monica Murphy Hey Alison! Karen actually came first - I've been published as Karen since 2006. After I wrote One Week Girlfriend, I knew it had a totally different voice and feel to it versus my Karen books, so I chose to originally self publish OWG as Monica. And then...Monica got bigger than Karen. So that's how that happened. :)
