Hi Steve! I absolutely loved reading both Bella and Bootlicker. I'd love to know what your inspiration was for writing both titles?

Steve Piacente Thanks, Moonlight. It begins with a 25-year reporting career during which I covered all sorts of stories. I also stashed lots of material that wasn't quite right for a daily newspaper, but which would eventually fit perfectly into my novels. For instance, I have always been interested in how people act when faced with tough ethical choices – essentially what folks do when a decision must be made and no one is watching. The action in my stories is is driven largely by ethical decisions key characters make on real and political battlefields.
