I’ve always cared about the ocean and I love scuba diving. I’ve been frustrated, though, because many sea books are written by non-divers, and they don’t really capture the beauty of the world under the waves. I also thought kids might enjoy a sea story set in a world where climate change was wreaking havoc. I hoped a tale like that might make young readers care more about our oceans and climate change in general.

The Neptune Project is my very favorite book in the whole world, and I am always looking for books like it. I came across a series this year called the Above World series, and I was wondering if you had heard of it/ read it. I like the series because it could almost be a super far in the future continuation of The Neptune Project where everyone is a mutant instead of just a few and it is really cool! Have you read it?
