Rebecca Schlegel
Rebecca Schlegel asked Sherryl Woods:

I find myself becoming so involved with the characters and locations in your series that I don't ever want a series to end. Do you find it difficult to end a series and move on or are you anxious and excited about developing a new vision?

Sherryl Woods Rebecca, most of the time I have a plan for the series from the beginning, and wrapping it up is part of that plan. Sometimes I just know it's time to let go. For instance, I did a long-running series for a Silhouette Special Edition called And Baby Makes Three. Readers and I loved Grandpa Harlan. I was determined he wouldn't die on my watch, so had to end the series before there was no way around letting him go. Ditto with Chesapeake Shores. Nell won't be dying in these books!
