I don't really understand the bit about Anselma. I understand she was a lover of Cromwell's, and that she's on the tapestry as the queen of Sheba, but why is she on that? I'm only part way through the book, though.

In The Mirror and the Light, it is suggested that Anselma may have been the model for Sheba in this Flemish tapestry.
