Hii Mark, I was thinking to start reading prince of fools, but is it necessary or required to read the Broken Empire series first? as i heard there are links between both the series.

Hi Mukul - no it's not necessary. There are links but Prince of Fools stands on its own, so if it appeals to you more than Prince of Thorns then go for it.
Prince of Fools has more humour in it and less darkness.

Hi Mark, I just finished Prince of fools and abselutly loved it and I thought this anti- hero side a breath of fresh air. I am from Iceland and recognized few words from my language that gave the story a extra value for me. Is Snorri meant to be from Iceland or is it just open for interpretation, like any northern Viking country and second question, when does this story take place, I mean Stocholm syndrome ? :)
