Hi, my name is Cintia and I'm from Argentina. Being a writer is what I want the most in this world, nothing makes me happier than writing, but I'm more and more frustrated with each passing day, because I've been blocked for 3 years. And it is not that I have an unfinished story. I have NOTHING AT ALL. A blank page in front of me, that only makes me sadder... Is there a way to overcome this? How do you handle it?
C.W. Gortner
Hi Cintia. Honestly, if you want to write, then you write. I just sit down and write, I don't think about it. I can get blocked on certain scenes or need to take a break on occasion, but I have to have written something for that to even happen. Not sure what advice to give you here. Sorry!

Hello Mr, Gortner, A recommendation led me to your books. Your description of a Spanish woman is on point. Which book do I read first??? My ancestors immigrated to the mainland from Toledo, Spain. Raised Catholic, I learned my roots are from within the walls of La Juderia. Toledo, is worthy of story to be told, with its rich history.

Very excited about The Vatican Princess! I love the genre and studied myself in Paris where I delved into Renaissance studies. I am also a huge fan of Tudor literature, so when I saw that Alison Weir highly recommended your book I was very excited! I have been waiting for a book to tell the story from Lucrezia's perspective. Do you see parallels between Lucrezia and Anne Boleyn in being unfairly maligned figures?

Hello! Actually, I do not have a question but I would like to seize this opportunity to thank you for your work. Writing acurate and well researched historical fiction requires a lot of time and work. But what a pleasure for the readers!! P.S.: I am adding a question mark to this message as I am asked to :-) "?"
