Pam asked J.C. Andrijeski:

'M wanting to start Allie's War, but I'm confused withe books vs. episodes...are the episodes serialization of the book, or novellas?

J.C. Andrijeski Hey there! Sorry about the confusion - I actually got rid of the episode format because it was just too confusing for people. I'd thought since they were such long books it might be more digestible in a shorter format, so breaking them up into episodes was kind of an experiment. But (like you) it was just too cumbersome for most people to figure out. So the order of the series is this:

Rook (Allie's War Book One)
Shield (Allie's War Book Two)
Sword (Allie's War Book Three)
Shadow (Allie's War Book Four)
Knight (Allie's War Book Five)
War (Allie's War Book Six)
Bridge (Allie's War Book Seven)
Prophet (Allie's War Book Eight)
Dragon (Allie's War Book Nine)
Sun (Allie's War Book Ten) - TBD Spring 2016

There are also prequel books, which were written in the following order but can more or less be read in any order. They aren't necessary to the main arc but provide a fair bit of backstory in some areas:

New York
Revik
Terian
Birth
London
Kirev's Door (this is also a bridging novel to a new series I have, that's a spinoff from the main series)

Hope this helps!! And apologies for the confusion!

Best,
JC
