How do you get inspired to write?

Koral Dasgupta Writing is an age old habit. My mother encouraged me to write diaries in childhood because that improved language, handwriting and spellings. Since then I write because that's like documenting myself as I exist, with my body. With the books, I have started documenting myself as I exist with my mind. Thus today, my dreams and fantasies too have a real, collective world; because the readers live those with me.
