Lots of wisdom and helps me to think outside the proverbial box I am comfortable living in. Rising Strong is a book of growth and I'm grateful for all the research Brene' did that benefits us. I love the concept of stories we write about defining the events in our lives. Makes me rethink a lot of things. I like her vulnerability and willingness to see things from a different perspective and to know that the emotions I am feeling are probably not the truth. Great read!! (less)
