Hi, Dwight! I just finished your novel Growin' Up White and loved it! I grew up in Indy a little later than you and attended a successfully integrated Shortridge from 1964-1968. Boy, thankfully things had changed quite a lot by then! I will always treasure my time there. I also had a very progressive family and my dad helped start the NAACP and integrate downtown.
