I couldn't STAND we were liars. I hated the plot, the characters, basically everything. I've read most of the reviews and the description and it seems to be right up my alley- is it worth reading if I didn't like We Were Liars?

harmain How come you were not able to love We Were Liars? It's certainly a shocker but then everyone has a different perception so you're not at fault. Me being a staunch supporter of feminism, absolutely loved this book. If you like feministic, strong headed, independent female characters then this is definitely your read. I would definitely advise you to read The Disreputable History Of Frankie Landau Banks. Cause it's a masterpiece that will make you laugh and think.
Scorpia015 First: why did you not like We Were Liars? I've never read it. Second, if you believe that women are incapable of doing things because of their gender and are unwilling to change, then you wouldn't like it; however, if you are willing to change or don't care, you should probably read it. If you are an empowered feminist, go for it.
