Poppy Panagopoulos
Poppy Panagopoulos asked Kasie West:

How often do you write? I just read about an author whose goal was to do 1,000 words a day. Does that seem low?

Kasie West Every day is different. 1000 a day is great. That adds up if you do it every day. That's usually my goal if I'm coming back from a writing break and trying to ease myself back in. 1000 a day would be a full book in 2 months. If you like to write faster than that, that's good too. Some days I can clock 3-4K. I try not to get caught up in numbers. When I'm in the zone, I keep writing, when I'm not, I eek out as much as I can.
