I am currently working on a book based on my experiences with Aortoarteritis - a rare form of Vasculitis that I suffer from. The book is a narrative describing the onset of the mystery illness; the near-death struggle with misdiagnosis and speculative treatments till the final diagnosis; an open heart surgery to repair the damage caused; and coming to terms with an ailment that may continue to threaten me my entire life. The idea is to spread awareness about this disease, highlight some common liberties we take with our health that may have very costly repercussions, and bring hope to fellow sufferers of Aortoarteritis. All of this with a subtle humour running through the storyline.
