Hope I wouldn't say it was appropriate. There are several instances of cursing, one in particular is highly inappropriate for a 12 year old in my opinion. …moreI wouldn't say it was appropriate. There are several instances of cursing, one in particular is highly inappropriate for a 12 year old in my opinion. There is also a place where she makes love, and several instances where she refers to it. Overall, this book is a bit mature for a 12 year old.(less)
