Confused when Leo tells Alma Singer that Bruno died in 1941. Does this mean his interactions with Bruno in the US in his imagination? I actually listened to the audio book rather than read this- maybe I missed something? Seems like there were other (intentionally?)loose ends, like learning near end of book that Alma took a drawing class, in seemingly the same place where Leo posed/modeled very early in the book...
