Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Hope Irving Twice Upon A Time was inspired by all the fairy tales I've read as a little girl. In each of them, there's a lesson to learn, with sometimes a darker side, and the characters always grow from that experience.
Later in life, I enjoyed stories where the paranormal was combined with every day life. I like the idea that it's not because you don't know something exists that it doesn't exist, for real.
I've always been fascinated by eternal life. I'm a huge vampire fan but wanted to give eternal life a different twist.
That's why I chose to write a New Adult contemporary/paranormal love story about reincarnation, soulmates and wandering souls.
