Have you ever considered setting the action of your book somewhere in Europe? London, Paris, Rome. This would be such a lovely thing to do. Also, I was wondering - do you always go for happy endings? Life isn't always so optimistic and "Before We Were Stragers" main characters could be less lucky in real life :(

Thank you for the question. Yes, I always think about my travels to Europe and setting a story there. There is small section in the book I just finished that takes place in Paris. I always think about different endings for my books. I think it's satisfying to know there are people as lucky as Matt and Grace, even though for fifteen years I would have described them as anything but lucky. I think it's hopeful. That said, I'll always try to give my characters the ending I feel is right, good or bad.

Matt and Grace's story just gutted me sideways, upside down and inside out. Now that I know what Grace went through with Ash, Matt had no business getting mad at her about that. The reverse should have been the case, she is the one who should be mad. If I wereGrace, I will make sure he grovelled for a long time before I forgive him. He is the Elisabethan in this case. He owns what that woman did, directly or indirect?
