How could Catherine state a year as "B.C" when that time marker had not yet been established in history? For example, in Chapter 2, when she was "Anonda," in quotes she says, "The year is 1863 B.C." At that point in time, there was no time marker for B.C.

When I have had a number of subjects go back before BC, what we were told was in that era, the Ruler or King of various realms, at the time, would set up his/her own method of marking passage of years, so "what year it was, varied in various parts of the world, according to the king, or ruler, of that area and in that era.(less)
