I have read your book Winter Kill and loved it very much. I also thought i read somewhere that you were doing a series of sorts with the seasons. Winter Kill being winter and three other books with Spring, Summer and Fall/Autumn. Was i wrong?

The quartet of stories that you're thinking of begins with The Haunted Heart: Winter. Three more seasons are planned to follow.

This was one of those ideas that didn't play out as expected. My original thought was to do four fast and funny ghost short stories. But Flynn really captured my heart and his situation was not funny and I felt like I needed more time to do him justice.

Sooooo The Haunted Heart quartet is taking longer than planned.

Winter Kill was always intended as a standalone. The FBI section head Sam Kennedy does get his own story in The Mermaid Murders, which comes out in January.
