Hallo Nachdem ich in der zweiten Klasse Potilla gelesen habe, war es um mich geschehen und ich habe Ihre Bücher verschlungen - was sich bis heute nicht geändert hat (Nicht geht über eine Tasse Kaffee und den Herrn der Diebe oder Drachenreiter!). Meine Frage ist, ob Sie sich vorstellen könnten, wenn Griffiin's Feather auf deutsch erscheint, mal wieder für eine Lesung nach Hamburg zu kommen? Liebe Grüße Svea Jacobsen

Cornelia Funke Liebe Svea, ich lese am 24.9. in meiner alten Heimatstadt (die ich immer noch sehr liebe) Ich komme anlässlich der Verleihung des Hamburger Tüdelbands:)) DIE FEDER EINES GREIFS erscheint im Herbst 2016 in Deutschland, vielleicht sogar schon im August. Meine Lektorin und ich machen es im September fertig für die Druckerei. Dressler plant zusätzlich zu meinen üblichen sw Illustrationen die farbigen Skizzen aus meinen Notizbüchern mit in das Buch aufzunehmen, worauf ich mich ganz besonders freue. liebe Grüße zurück aus Los Angeles! Hi! I absolutely LOVE your book, Dragon Rider! It was one of the reasons I fell in love with books. You're such an inspiration! And you are funke-y! (Get it? FUNKe-y? Bet you haven't heard that before!) I also love Thief Lord, which doesn't seem to be mentioned so much in the questions below. What do you feel is your biggest success so far? Hi! I just wanted to thank you. Your books are so special to me, especially the Inkworld Trilogy and the Thief Lord. They are filled with so much magic and have taken me on wonderful adventures. How are you so imaginative?! The relationship between Meggie and her dad is so special to me right now, as my own daddy passed away very recently, and their relationship reminds me of what I had with him

It's very cool how Orlando is based on David Tennant (I love his Doctor!). Does the actor himself knew you were going to base a character on him in your book? If so, how did he feel about that? (I imagine he would be honored because you're an awesome writer. )
