I google how to get over writer's block. And then when that doesn't work I stress out. Or at least I used to. Then I came across an interview with one of my favorite poet's, Amber Tamblyn. She quoted another poet that told her in regards to writer's block that her "muse was sleeping." Suddenly I was okay with those long periods of time where I don't write because when I did force myself to create it was always really bad. Now, if it's not there I don't force it. I focus on something else, like planning the next step in life or even just what's for dinner. I just let it run it's course and when the muse awakens, she lets me know.
