Do you view Jude as gay, in the end? Willem? The book is pretty much a love story about a gay couple and yet they don't have sex and neither are gay in the normal sense of the word. Willem is mostly attracted to women but Jude is the love of his life, and Jude admits to Willem that he doesn't know if he has sex with men because he wants to or because he doesn't know anything else..
