Just finished Ruin, it is the best of the series so far without a doubt, how long till book 4? With the way all the POV's ended I don't think I can wait very long for it.

Hi Trevor,
Really great to hear from you. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed Ruin so much - thank-you for the kind words.
I'm still writing book four - titled 'Wrath,' which will be the last in the series. My deadline for it is the end of September. Usually it's about a year between submission and publication, so I imagine that Wrath will be on the shelves roughly this time next year. Don't quote me on that, though, as I've not had any date from my publishers, yet.
Keep watching my blog and/or facebook for more updates.
Hope that helps.
Best,
John

Hey, I've noticed a pattern with your books. At the end of each one, someone or something dies (along with pieces of my heart and soul). This is making me REALLY NERVOUS FOR BOOK FOUR WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING JOHN?! I don't think my heart can take another ending like Ruin :(
That said, The Faithful and the Fallen is up there in my top 10 fave book series of all time ever, so thank you for sharing your world with us :)

Hi John, I'm a young writer. I've been creating a story line and character universe for a few months now. I began reading your books, and I love them. But I'm curious, can you give any tips for multi-perspective writing such as the ones in your books? Also, I'm wondering, can you give any tips on how you named places, characters?, and objects etc.?
