I used to think that inspiration was something you had to wait for, but now I know it’s something you have to actively seek. Inspiration is all around us. It’s the conversations we over hear while we wait in line for our coffee. It’s the random, and sometimes very strange, stories we see on our newsfeed when we’re scrolling through Facebook. It’s the day dreams we have while we’re sitting there, seemingly doing nothing. One thing I’ve learned is that the most inspiring thing is the act of writing itself.
