I am just about done with the audiobook version of Snow Crash and I was wondering if this book is more suited to be read than listened to. Should I get the audiobook or the regular book?

I'm only a few chapters in, but I think I'd be confused if I listened to it as an audiobook. The author has a sort Douglas Adams-ish humor - hard to explain, but I think that combined with the made-up bits are better read at a personal pace, not at someone else's pace. If you're in a hurry to get through it, then sure, go for the audiobook. But I think this is a book that will be more enjoyable read at a leisurely, non-hurried pace.(less)
