Goodreads asked S.E. Sasaki:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

S.E. Sasaki If you are terribly shy, like me, it is tough to express oneself. I find writing is my outlet. I can be a crazy as I want, as tough as I want, as bold as I want, through my characters. I can live gratuitously through them. As Terry Pratchett once said, 'Writing is the most fun a person can have when on one's own' . . . or something like that. I agree! ;D
