Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michael Laird I've always been fascinated by mythology. How many kids ask for the encyclopedias of mythology after exhausting the resources of the local library? Celtic myth falls close to my roots but is a wide open playing field that's been overshadowed by a thousand and one Arthurian works of fiction (and a ton more of those books that always display a hairless, shirtless guy on the cover that are, ostensibly, Celtic romances).
