Goodreads asked VS Grenier:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

VS Grenier Before I sit down to work on a manuscript, I usually do a writing prompt or some type of writing exercise to clear my thoughts. I also will read what I already have written or go for a walk. It just depends on why I'm getting writers block. An author I know well once told me the best way to keep writer's block at bay is to stop writing when you are on a roll that way when you come back to it, you're ready with fresh ideas and in a spot your excited to start working on again.
