When I'm working on a manuscript - at least 2/3 times a week I get ideas from nowhere that know will either add or improve what I'm doing and I quickly note these down onto my iPhone and that drives me to do something with them as soon as I can.
The only downside to the way my brain works is that these ideas usually appear between 1-4 am!!
