Addey
Addey asked Diana Gabaldon:

Did you have any previous writing experience before you wrote Outlander?

Diana Gabaldon Certainly. I'd been a professional non-fiction writer (as in, people paid me to do it ) for several years before I decided to write a novel for practice.

Amy
Amy asked Diana Gabaldon:

Why is Claire different in appearance from the books vs the tv show?

Catherine
Catherine asked Diana Gabaldon:

Another question I have is, having found "Outlander" purely by accident (haha), I am impatiently awaiting book 9 (I feel like I am right there with them in the thick of it). Could you keep them alive a while longer? I'm not ready to let them go.

Farsong Reads
Farsong Reads asked Diana Gabaldon:

I love the Lord John novels and novellas. It was interesting to me how you wrote his character while he was recovering from his battle injury--he was not himself, yet still clearly the same character. You did that so well. My question is, (spoiler) why did Percy betray him? It just seemed like such a stupid thing to do! Was he just stupid?
