Sam Whitehouse
Sam Whitehouse asked Joseph Delaney:

Do you have a writing routine? A certain number of words you complete in a day, or a place where you write?

Joseph Delaney My word-output varies. When writing dialogue the word count is much higher than for an action scene. Each day I hope to write between 500 and 1,000 words. The most I’ve ever done in one day is about 3,000 words. When I am at home I write in my study, unless it is very sunny then I might sit outside. But I can write anywhere and these days when I am on holiday or on tour I always make sure I write something, even if it is only a few hundred words.
