There is no such thing! Stories love to hide from us. They are a maze and while looking for their beating heart we often fall for their tricks, follow the wrong path, the wrong characters....and run into the hedge. I guess that's what some people call writer's block. It is a very important moment though, when we hit those hedges - they reveal where the stories hide and where we took the wrong direction. We just need to walk back to where we suddenly felt lost - and choose the right path (which of course will make the story very angry:)

Hi Cornelia, I love your books, especially the Inkheart trilogy, Dragon Rider and The Thief Lord! Your books completely changed my life and I'm extremely grateful I had the pleasure to read and re-read your books *reflects on re-reading Inkdeath at least once a year since 2011*. I was wondering, is The Colour of Revenge going to be another series or is it going to be just one book? I'm so excited for it! Lots of love

Hi Cornelia! I am a huge fan of your books and I am also an aspiring author. I was hoping you might have some advice for me about sticking to writing. How many words would you recommend trying to write in a day? I also have so many ideas, but I jump around and never finish. I have finally chosen one to see through first, but now I am having trouble finishing my plot and just writing in general. Any advice?

Hello again ! (Am i being a little too persistent ? xD) I'm sorry, I already have my question answered, but when you said you are writing a sequel, I couldn't contain my excitement ! (Give me a minute-fangirling) Are we going to visit ALL the characters again ? Will it answer our questions about their futures? Are you going to finish it anytime soon ? When does it come out ?? Will it be a stand-alone ? Thank You !
