Like all of us, I like too many authors and books to really pick ones out. I do love Stevenson's Treasure Island, though: the mix of literary quality, great characters and high adventure is very hard to beat.

+also appear in this world? If so, how will anyone negate the source, assuming the source is the actual ship underwater? (Also I have already read the Hollow boy and it was amazing. I bit my nails to nubs by the end of it and that cliffhanger oh my god. Such a beautiful book. Thank you so much for being so awesome :)

Mr Stroud, I'm a huge fan! Firstly I wanted to ask about the romance aspect in your books, you've been quite vague about it with Kitty and Nathaniel and even with Lockwood and Lucy. Do you feel that the romance is irrelevant to the story line and that you'd rather leave that up to the reader or are you going to explore such an angle with Lockwood and Lucy? P.S please write another Bartimaeus story!!
