I couldn't help wondering why are some of the women, (I think it's 30 percent?) still physically able to reproduce. If they loathe the natural birth process so much, and all the women who aren't freemartins are conditioned to use birth control, why didn't they just create all the women sterile?

Like they only need a few nice and fertile women really but they still leave plenty to have a good selection and pick the strongest or whatever ovaries need to be. If you think logically, since women need birth controls, it means man are not sterile either, so both are used to collect the materials for future people.(less)
