I was wondering if you planned on writing any more books after you finish with the Faithful and the Fallen series? I really love the world you have created and would like to see more...maybe a prequel series on the War of the Seven Treasure. Just curious

Thanks for your message, and also for your interest in The Banished Lands. The short answer is YES, I absolutely have plans to write a new series after the Faithful and the Fallen is finished. Your suggestion of going back to the War of Treasures is a great one, and one that I've given a lot of thought to. For now, though, I'll be going forwards instead of backwards. The next series I write will still be set in the same world as the Faithful and the Fallen, but a hundred or so years on. The deal for it was signed with my publishers, Pan Macmillan, back in May. Hi John Quick question if you have the time So far ive only found the one short story from you (the camlin one in rogues) are you planning any other shorts / or do other shorts exists and would you be up for writing more to bridge the gap between your series ? Also just out of interest you ever think your going to try your hand at sci-fi ?

I've also just finished reading Brian Staveley's Chronicle of the Unhewn thrown" series, which I also enjoyed.
