Thank you for your question. I am satisfied that the character in both books represents the character that is in my head. How she will develop during the next 6 books that I'm contracted to write remains to be seen. Luckily the vast majority of readers like, understand and identify with her which has made writing about her even more enjoyable.

I bought the first one of these by chance after seeing it on display, didn't even realise they were set reasonably close to home. Absolutely hooked now, read the first 5 and number 6 is ready to go. Love the characters, love the plots, hope there are plenty more to come. Plus I hope we haven't seen the last of Alex, Kim's "Moriarty" ??

Angela I utterly love the Kim Stones series. I have always been dubious about authors that churn crime books out but I have to say that I have read the first three and haven't been able to put them down. I have become very attached to Kim and her team. I can totally see this as a TV series, have you been approached by anyone yet? Great mixture of dark plots and depth of character. You should be very proud!!!

Hi! I am so in love with your books, I've devoured all of them and I cannot wait for more of Kim Stone. All your books have consistently been par excellence. My question is, who is your inspiration for Bryant and the relationship Kim and he share? What Bryant and Kim have is something people find very rarely, not to mention their every conversation is dripping with sarcasm, which makes it all the more fun reading.
