What would you say to a young reader who wants to write a book?

Mary E. Pearson Continue to READ! It is the best training to becoming a writer! And of course, write! I have a page on my website called "For Writers" with lots of advice from many writers including myself, recommendations for books on the craft of writing, and links to writing sites. As I mentioned in an earlier answer, input from other writers is so helpful too.
