What gave you the idea of the second book?

Sarah Noffke Thanks for the excellent question Domininc. I knew from the beginning of the series that I wanted to introduce a different society of Dream Travelers who were evil and the opposite of the Lucidites. That's where the idea started. When I decided they were French then the characters and locations just fell into place. And I wanted to have villains who were unique. To me there's nothing more terrifying than an innocent young girl who can throw knives and has no conscience. And then Chase, well, having someone put me under mind control is a crazy scary concept. Honestly, I create characters in my head and then they mostly tell the story. There were many times that I was surprised by where the story went, especially the end. Thanks again for the question. :)
