Hi, I'm a huge huge fans of your books, especially The Rock Chicks series (i know, I know this is so unoriginal), however, since I have read most of your books and I have read the rock chicks, colorado mountain, dream man and unfinished heroes a thousand times (may be a tad exaggeration :p) I was wondering if you could recommend authors that I can find while waiting for the rest of your books?

Hmm...well, since I write so much, I don't get to read very often :-( but I will tell you some of my favorites (and some of them have been around awhile) and I hope you'll give them a try.
Judith McNaught: Romance writer of the highest caliber! She's my favorite and is one of the reasons I so desperately wanted to do this myself. She stopped publishing some time ago but her books are the best I've ever come across (obviously according to moi :-)). Personal favorites are ONCE AND ALWAYS, SOMETHING WONDERFUL, A KINGDOM OF DREAMS, ALMOST HEAVEN and PARADISE.
Johanna Lindsey's WARRIOR WOMAN is THE BOMB! That was the first book I ever read where I thought that the "box" not only could be exited, it could be blown to smithereens. FABULOUS book.
Jude Devereux, Julie Garwood and Julia Quinn (I used to think you had to have a "J" name to be an epic romance writer) are also fabulouso!
Kresley Cole's A HUNGER LIKE NO OTHER and the following in that series are so so good (AHLNO LOOOOOVE!!!!). I had been living in a romance wasteland for probably 7 years, found that book, devoured that series.
Jenn Bennett's BITTER SPIRITS is fab! I've downloaded the whole Roaring Twenties series and can't wait to get my teeth into it. It was refreshing, a great locale, a fantastic hero and heroine, an unusual (and awesome) place in history, and a brilliant hook. Wish I'd thought of it myself - but I since it's all Jenn's, I would never be able to do it the justice she did.
Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I must admit I haven't had the time to keep up with this series so I don't know what the latest 7-10 books are like but the first books in the series are AWESOME! LOVE THEM! Funny as all hell and then there's Morelli and Ranger (I'm a babe, but I could be talked into being a cupcake, for sure!).
Non-romance: CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES, anything Carl Hiassen, anything Margaret Atwood, Tom Robbins, Fannie Flagg, Jennie Shortridge, Kurt Vonnegut...and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
That should keep you busy! :-)

So first and foremost I love everything you have written, your books take me to new places that I would otherwise not get to see. Your books have come to me in bad personal times for me and transported me to beautifu places that hurt a little less. So truly from the bottom of my heart thank you for your stories that mean more to me than just stories. So question why do we not have males in the audio books...ALPHA!?
