Hi Tim, I heard a piece from you about your travels in Myanmar on the From our own Correspondent podcast. Is your next book about Burma? I was there in that country a couple of years ago and would love to read your take on it,

Tim Butcher Thanks for the question Thats and hats off to you for catching that FooC (as From Our Own Correspondent is known by contributors). I hope you had as special a time in Myanmar as we did and yes, it will figure in the new book, but not quite in the same was as the other three books. Lots of work to do yet.

Tim - I thoroughly enjoyed your original take on the origins of WWI in "The Trigger". The way you were able to weave your experience from the Bosnian War in the 90s added a further level to one's understanding of an important subject. You may have to ask Bosnian Tourism for royalties as you made the place seem most appealing to an adventurer! What do you plan on writing about next?
