What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Michael S. Vischi It's a different type of courage. I've been in the military for nearly 14 years and I've seen some real life situations that demand an almost inhuman amount of courage. Being a writer, albeit on a different scale, requires a similar amount of courage. You never know what the world will throw at you when your work gets out there... and when it's out there, it's out there for life. The courage required to face it all is pretty intense, and something to be proud of.
