Usually upside down and in a foreign language, but I've just come to realize that this might not be the best way. I'll might just try this british "left to right"-thing everybody is talking about.

If an adult, read it to yourself pretending to be 7 and a half again. Then, if it can be arranged, read it with children at story time! Two limiters: use a physical book and make up different voices for the different characters (for example, some speak quickly while others speak slowly).
