Kasie West:
Does anything influence you to write such realistic stories, (are they secretly based on your life)? :)
Kasie West
lol Nope, not secretly based on my life. That would be a fun life if they were. :) The things that influence me are thinking about situations and how different characters would handle those situations. So most of the time I think of a plot first and try to think of the type of character that would learn the most from that plot. Sometimes places influence me. When I saw a doll store in my home town, I knew I wanted to write a story set there. Sometimes I'll be watching a movie or reading and it will inspire a thought. I guess a lot of different things influence me. That's why I force myself out of the house to live a little.

Hey Kasieeee! I know I may be a bit late but I just finished reading The Distance Between Us and I know I am not the first to say this but it is so amazing. And it hurts me to think that now that I finished the book, I wouldnt be able to hear from Xander again. Will you please write another book for them? I know I am not the first to ask but do you have any plans?

I'm reading Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss and I love it! It's incredible. But, I have a question and I had to ask before I finish the book, in case I forget it ... After Lacey kisses Grant, she talks about previous people she has kissed, and she says freshmen year she kissed Hayden for some play. I was wondering, is this Hayden from the Fill-in Boyfriend? Or is this just me looking for a tie-in to my favorite book?

I have been waiting for The Fill-In Boyfriend and I've to say that it was definitely worth it, you never fail us. I just want to say that I love your books because they're not just YA romance books, there is always something more, and that's what makes you different than any other writer. That's what makes you brilliant. Thank you for making me so happy and excited and for being such a great writer. ?
