While they speak of aspects of the …moreNo. Out of Africa was published in the late 1930s; West with the Night, early 1940s, and Circling the Sun in 2015. While they speak of aspects of the same story, they are told from different vantage points. Three authors, two of whom wrote autobiographically (perhaps, Beryl Markham is a bit of a mystery), the third (McLain) researched and fictionalized motives, thoughts and filled in a lot of blanks with a good story. Read where your curiosity begins -- Dinesen and Markham would both have wanted that for you.(less)
