While they speak of aspects of the same story, they are told from different vantage points. Three authors, two of whom wrote autobiographically (perhaps, Beryl Markham is a bit of a mystery), the third (McLain) researched and fictionalized motives, thoughts and filled in a lot of blanks with a good story. Read where your curiosity begins -- Dinesen and Markham would both have wanted that for you.(less)
