I like to do origami, and LOVED reading the "Paper Magician" series! What inspired you to write the books?

Thank you! Honestly, it started with me thinking it'd be cool to animate a paper crane, and stemmed from there (with some influences from Downton Abbey...). :)

Hey, rattled through the first Magicians trilogy and have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering some or all of them (I know you mind not be able to say)? Tried digging through your site but to no avail. Any news for the second Plastic Magician novel release? Will the "ink" magic at the end of Paper Magician be addressed? For fun, whats your favourite magic discipline? Gaffers seemed the most fun to me.

Hi, I just wished to tell you that I just finished the Glass Magician, and I cannot wait to start on the third novel! I don't think I've read a series I've liked this much in ages, the characters, the enviroment, near everything is so wonderfully described! I do wish you keep writing such amazing works, I will most likely read them! As for the actual question, I'm curious as to how you even came up with this story?
