Nicola About 2.3 billion people in 53 nations are members of The Commonwealth, headed by the Queen and a great many of those people know who the royals are in fairly significant detail. There's a lot of world outside of America, as it happens. PS you're likely not a 'stupid' American, but many of your countrymen and women are a wee bit ignorant of the rest of the world, having been told for decades that you're the greatest, the best, the most wonderful nation on earth and, thus, having become to our eyes very insular in your outlook.
