A Goodreads user
asked:
Are there descriptive sex scenes? That's a must for any romance book at this point. That and damsel in distress but she's confident and not written as a helpless idiot. Should i read?

Depends on your definition of "sex." There is sex in book 1, just not intercourse. At one point there are even literal fireworks--sounds like really good sex to me! It's not very descriptive in the manner of Diana Gabaldon sex scenes, but there's no question in my mind exactly who is doing what to whom. Or maybe that's just my imagination.
Kathy Wilson
Story line excellent but it's a trilogy and the sex scenes escalate. I was disappointed because of that and would not recommend it for that reason only.
Ashley Bell
There's a little hanky panky going on, like rounding second base type stuff. But it's not descriptive. Nothing at all compared to Day, James, Gabaldon, etc.
Jillian Chamberlin
There is a sex scene in the second book, but I wouldn't call it "descriptive" in the age of 50 Shades of Grey...

I just finished the first book. The characters do passionately kiss but there is no sex. Kind of strange as they have been married for some time & have still not consummated their marriage.
Ekaterina Gilbert
I've just finished the first one. No sex scènes so far. There is however an damsel in distress factor which the character contiously denies.
Amanda Artist Cat
No, Diana is no damsel in distress. Women can have problems and not be afraid to ask for help and still be in control of their destinies - unlike the damsrls who wait for others to dictate her salvation or destruction.
