How do you deal with writer’s block?

Janice Dembosky The only kind of writer's block I honestly experienced was not being able to find time to write when I was teaching and raising three kids. I did write, but it was sporadically from summer to summer. When I retired from teaching and my kids were grown, I filled the empty nest and empty hours with writing! However, I took too long to write and publish my first novel, but, with the enthusiastic response it has received plus with readers calling for a sequel, I am so turned on to writing. I won't disappoint them!
