Not as good as Me Before You, but still held my interest. Buuut…. didin't get the epilogue….and didn't like the original title 'Foreign Fruit.' What did it mean? Also never really liked Lottie, but I like the fact that I didn't like her -- shows that not all protagonists have to be heroines!

He is this 'foreign', mysteric guy that comes to the little town and set his marks for decades, allthough only being there so short. It plays upon 'forbidden fruit' like the wall painting also shows (with Guy and Lottie pictured as Adam and Eve). It is throughout the book very obvious Celia was never pregnant, but in the epilogue we learn it might not just be a vicious lie she told to keep Guy, but because she was actually sick.(less)
